The Special General Meeting of the membership of the EOBM, which was to have been held before a Phylum Feast at the musem this day to discuss options for the future of the museum, has been postponed until 20 February. One of these options is moving the EOBM into the BMNHC, as a self-motivated organization with the collections be at the centre of its operations and with collegial democratic governance entrenched in its bylaws. In deference to our friends who urge us to be careful of remaining entangled in the EOBM (some of whom traditionally produce highly diverse Darwin's Day dishes), we invite everyone to this biodiversity snack-feast of hors-d'oeuvres and desserts to discuss "What's to be done about the EOBM?"
